Warranty Policy

Warranty terms vary between items. We will attempt to deal with warranty claims quickly due to the possible inconvenience caused to the customer, however delays may occur in some instances.

Diff Technics is not authorised to repair or replace some items, and they may need to be shipped to be checked by suppliers. The customer may be subject to a repair charge and a freight charge. We may be able to advise on a fix over the phone or do a simple repair locally and save on unnecessary delays and possible charges.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

Step 1

Before any warranty claim is made, we ask that you do the following;

(a) Consider the product instructions to ensure that the product is being correctly used; and

(b) Follow any troubleshooting procedures supplied with the product (some help may be offered for the product on our website or the manufacture's website).

If the problem continues, please contact us to determine if the problem can be resolved before the item is returned to our warehouse.

Step 2

If no solution can be found, you must complete the Warranty RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) Request Form HERE.

We will then send you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) Number which must accompany the returned goods.

The goods must be accompanied by the following:
  1. The RMA Number we have supplied you
  2. Proof of Purchase must be provided (Invoice Number/Order Confirmation Number)
  3. Positive ID will be required (Copy of Driver’s License)  Note: You must be the original purchaser of the goods (Name on Order must be the same as proof of ID)

Product(s) should then be returned for testing and evaluation to the following address:

Please note that all freight, and other costs associated with the return of the product, to our business address will be at your cost.

Also, please retain proof of return shipment, as we are not responsible for goods being returned to us that are lost in transit.

Should the product sent back for testing be found not to be defective from manufacturing or component defect, all freight charges will;
  1. Be your responsibility; and
  2. Will need to be paid, in advance of the product being return to you

Should the product(s) sent back to us be proven to be faulty, not of acceptable quality or component defect, the product will then be repaired, replaced, exchanged or a refund granted to you. 

Claims for compensation or reasonable freight expenses, incurred in returning your item, to us require to be accompanied with supporting evidence/freight receipts.

Refunds

    • Refunds will be made within 5 working days of receipt of the returned goods to the original payment form.  Your bank may take up to 7 working days to credit your account.
    • Please note shipping costs are not refunded unless items is faulty.

    We may elect to return the product to the manufacturer to determine the nature of the problem. We reserve the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item faults;

      1. Is a result of misuse or neglect; and
      2. Failure to use part or product, in accordance with manufactures instructions, including failure to install correctly; and
      3. Water damage, or corrosion.

      All warranty claims, must be made within 3 months from the date of purchase.

      NOTE: 

      For Warranty purposes:

      1.  The use of our products for motorsports purposes, in most circumstances, is contrary to the manufacture’s design specifications and not in accordance with the manufactures instructions.

      Accordingly, the use of our products in motorsports, will, in most circumstances, void the products warranty.

      2.  Products sold on this website, will require to be installed by a licensed Automotive/Motor Mechanic
