Like anything else the GTO's IRS is fine up to a certain point, But for those who are pushing big HP or just want a solid rear end to cope with other racing applications such as circuit you can't go past the tried and trued Ford Nine Inch which we now make to suit the IRS it accepts all Nine Inch hardware such as Ratio's, Carriers, Yokes, Pinion supports E.T.C.

The Nine inch housing and axle package includes the following.

  • 1 x Housing
  • 2 x Axles (half shafts)
  • 2 x Axle bearing kits (fitted)
  • 5 x Pinion support retainer bolts & washers
  • 1 x Rear cover
  • 1 x Breather
  • 8 x Axle retainer bolts & washers
  • 2 x A.B.S. Sensor brackets (where applicable)
  • 1 x Straddle Bearing & circlip
  • 2 x Axle oil seals
